Wisdom teeth, generally appearing between the ages of 12 and 25, are the last to grow in. They are also notorious for posing problems such as impaction and overcrowding. Impacted wisdom teeth grow sideways, partially emerge from the gum, even remain trapped beneath the gum and bone. In such circumstances, extraction is required.
As part of our long-term approach, we monitor how your teeth are moving in order to take the best course of action in a timely fashion.
